The type of personal information we collect :
We currently collect and process the following information:
· Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you or via your selling dealer for one of the following reasons:
· You have made an enquiry via the website regarding basic operator training
· Having purchased your ATV/SbS you are entitled to basic operator training.
This training will be organised by us, the European All Terrain Safety Institute (EASI), as we have been retained by the manufacturer of your ATV/SbS to arrange basic training for their customers – this is you - on a national basis.
In order for us, EASI, and subsequently our appointed independent instructors, to contact you to make the necessary detailed arrangements for the training that you are entitled to by your purchase, your dealer will record and pass to us a minimum level of your details, vin; name, address, e-mail address and phone numbers.
This is about your safety.
· If we are unable to contact you, your basic operator training as recommended, and provided by your manufacturer cannot be provided.
· If you are unable to consent to the provision of the basic data required, you will exclude yourself from the manufacturers provision of basic operator training.
EASI will not use your data for any other purpose than the contact with you that is necessary related to the provision of the basic operator training recommended by the manufacturer.
Beyond the arrangements related to your entitled basic operator training, your basic data will be stored for two years and will only be used in that time should there be a need to update the basic training. At two years your data will be destroyed by EASI.
At anytime you may call EASI and ask that your data is removed from our files. We would caution only that if this request is in advance of your training provision you will exclude yourself from it.
