The ATV RiderCourse is an introductory safety training course which takes four and a half hours, is available for ATV riders aged 6 and above and normally costs £180.00 + VAT per person.
EASI SbS Driver course is an introductory safety training course which takes five hours, is available for SbS Operators aged 10 and above and normally costs £180.00 + VAT per person.
Anyone buying a new or used ATV from the leading Eight manufacturers (Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki, BRP, Yamaha, Kymco and CFMOTO) via one of their authorised UK dealers is eligible for FREE or highly subsidised EASI Rider training, subject to qualifying terms, conditions and availability.
The EASI RiderCourse is an interactive, hands-on learning experience that is both practical and enjoyable. As well as teaching safe riding techniques, the course covers safety clothing and protective equipment, pre-ride inspections, risk assessment and environmental issues.
Riders are expected to supply their own ATV's for training and for children aged 6 - 16 they MUST be riding machines appropriate for their age.
The EASI RiderCourse caters for a maximum number of 8 adult riders (or 6 children if aged under 16 years), per course
The programme lasts around four and a half hours and consists of 16 lessons, as follows:
1 Introduction to the ATV Rider Course, protective clothing and equipment and pre-ride inspections of ATVs (known as T-CLOC)
2 Range signals, rules and warm up exercises
3 Controls and starting the engine
4 Starting out, shifting gears and braking
5 Turning
6 Riding strategies / Risk awareness
7 Riding circles and figure of eight
8 Quicker turns
9 Sharp turns
10 Quick stops and swerves
11 Quick stop in a turn
12 Riding over obstacles
13 Safe and responsible riding practices
14 U-turn / Traversing hills
15 Circuit or Trail ride
16 Wrap up and review
The EASI Rider Course ends with a wrap up and review session where Student Performance Evaluation Forms are distributed to all riders, detailing any areas and skills that require further work and practice.
The EASI DriverCourse takes five and a half hours, is available for all SbS drivers of the appropriate age and normally costs £180 + VAT per driver.
EASI SbS DriverCourse is a hands on outdoor experience consisting of practical and theoretical elements and as well as teaching safe driving techniques, the course covers safety clothing and protective equipment, pre-drive inspections, risk assessment and environmental issues.
